New Moon Foundation, now Kohala Institute is a great place for hiking, learning about the land, hawaiian culture, agriculture and sustainability. They are just finishing major renovations and will have cabins and a retreat place open soon. Check out the farm, the Taro Patches or the hikes if you have chance, and if you have more time, hike down to the lighthouse by the ocean for a wonderful experience!
